Case van Genuchten Wins 2025 James A. Morgan Early Career Award

We are thrilled to announce that Dr. Case van Genuchten has been awarded the 2025 James A. Morgan Early Career Award by Environmental Science & Technology (ES&T), one of the leading journals in environmental chemistry and engineering.

This award recognizes Case’s groundbreaking work on transforming carcinogenic arsenic in groundwater into valuable materials critical for clean energy systems. This work has also elucidated the molecular pathways of arsenic treatment, which enables more effective design and operation of both centralized and decentralized water treatment plants in diverse economic settings.
