Presenting at the 2025 Goldschmidt Conference in Prague

Members of our team traveled to Prague, Czech Republic, to participate in the 2025 Goldschmidt Conference, one of the world’s premier gatherings for geochemistry and environmental science.

As part of the meeting, we co-convened the session, “Use-inspired geochemistry: the science underpinning environmental solutions”, which brought together researchers from across the globe to share new molecular-scale insights into contaminant transformation and recovery processes.

Our group also presented two research talks highlighting recent advances in arsenic waste upcycling (Kaifeng Wang) and phosphorus recovery (Tinatin Tkesheliadze) from groundwater treatment waste.

It was an inspiring week of discussion, collaboration, and connection with the global geochemistry community.
